What the Experts Don’t Tell You About Implementing Your LMS!
    webinar 2

Learning management systems (LMS) are fast becoming standard business applications supporting a wide range of business units and functions. By their very nature they create change within the organization; change in technologies, change in process, change in roles and responsibilities, change in expectations – and more. Typically, the LMS vendors focus on figuring out the ‘hard stuff’ – getting the software and technology working and installed. They call this ‘implementation’ when, in fact, its purpose is to only ensure the LMS technically works. Making sure its used is all-to- often left for later or not addressed at all. But, it’s been proven that it’s the ‘soft-stuff’ – the people issues associated with getting learners engaged, managers motivated and the organization energized around the new system that are the most critical.

In this weeks webinar we'll explore how to create an effective implementation strategy and plan - to ensure your LMS is actually used for its intended purpose and the business results are produced. Using three very different companies LMS implementations as examples, we'll look at how they integrated proven techniques and approaches from change management and consumer marketing into their approaches. And, we'll learn what tips and tricks they have to share to make your LMS implementation successful.

I've been an advocate for innovative approaches to learning and change throughout my life. I went from designing a week long ‘Experiment in Free Form Education’ program in high school to co- founding one of the nation’s first fully accredited ‘University Without Walls’ to founding a leading service company focussed on working with large organizations to improve individual and organizational performance and implement large-scale change.

I'm now an independent management consultant, international speaker, and author based in San Francisco, California and serving clients world-wide. I specialize in strategy development, program design, and implementation for corporate learning programs, organizational development interventions, and organizational change management initiatives.

I look forward to talking with you about how we can work together to make great things happen at your company or in your organization.
